Conversations and Coffee Chats

The decision to pursue your MBA is an important one, and our admissions committee wants to help you make an informed decision. We invite you to schedule a one-on-one conversation or attend a virtual coffee chat to learn more about our community and application process.  

• Military MBA Conversations are one-on-one, 15-minute Zoom calls with Darden’s Admissions Committee Military Liaison. These calls are for candidates who have already done some basic research about Darden’s MBA program and are interested in making a personal connection as they continue to craft their application and learn more about our community. 

• Military MBA Coffee Chats are small group, 45-minute Zoom calls with Darden’s Admissions Committee Military Liaison and other prospective students. These calls are a casual opportunity to ask your questions about our community and the application process.  

How should I prepare? 

You should be prepared to share a high-level overview of your story, why you are considering an MBA and how you became interested in Darden. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about our program and application process. 

Are these calls evaluative? 

These conversations are not evaluative. They are purely informational and an opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us, better.
