View our full list of events on our web page for more opportunities to connect with our team virtually or in-person in a city near you!

Summer Friday Chat and Tour

While there are no classes available during the summer, there are still opportunities to chat with an Admissions Committee member and tour the Darden Grounds. Join us from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Fridays throughout the summer to learn more about the application process, the Darden community, and how to determine if Darden is your best fit.
*If you are unable to join us for one of these Friday events and still wish to visit, please contact us to schedule an appointment. We are not able to accommodate drop-in appointments.

Class Visits

A Class Visit is a chance to interact 1:1 with a current student and observe a Full-Time MBA class. Prospective students will need to create an account. There will be a link to return to this calendar on the account landing page. Your visit experience will include:
  • Being paired with a student host for the duration of the visit, so we are unable to accept any registrations within 48 hours of the class time.
  • Shadowing the student host during class and observe the case method firsthand.
  • Joining the Darden community for First Coffee at 9:30 a.m., a Darden tradition dating back to the School’s founding.
  • Chat with Admissions during Second Coffee from 11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. We offer this optional small group discussion opportunity for all visitors. Please drop in as your class schedule allows. This is your chance to ask a member of the Admissions Committee questions about the application process, the Darden community, and how to determine if Darden is your best fit.
  • To make the most of your visit, we suggest reaching out to student club leaders or student ambassadors ahead of your visit to schedule a coffee chat during First Coffee or after your class. Come prepared with specific questions and use this valuable time to gain perspective on Darden culture and students’ unique experiences.
  • There is no formal tour during the class visit day, but we offer this self-guided tour option.

Class Visits are available throughout the academic year. Dates will be posted quarterly as the academic schedule is confirmed. Class Visits will return in late August and registration should be available mid-July.

Day With Darden

Prospective students are invited to join us in Charlottesville for a Day With Darden Open House, a two-day opportunity to experience Darden's tight-knit, collaborative community! The event begins Sunday evening with a student life panel and dinner with current student leaders and organizations.  On Monday,  attendees will learn about Darden application process through a panel discussion with members of the Admissions Committee, observe a class with a current student, and tour the Darden Grounds. Day With Darden Open House events are offered on select dates through the fall.
