On-Grounds events at Darden are a great way to observe the case method firsthand, and get to know Darden students, faculty and staff. We host several types of visit opportunities throughout the year.

MBA Class Visits
A Class Visit is a chance to interact 1:1 with a current student and observe a Full-Time MBA class. Prospective students will need to create an account. There will be a link to return to this calendar on the account landing page.
During your Class Visit, you'll be paired with a current student host, giving you the opportunity to attend a class and observe Darden’s case method in action. The day begins with First Coffee at 9:30 a.m., a long-standing Darden tradition, followed by an optional small-group chat with the Admissions Committee during Second Coffee from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is a great chance to ask questions about the application process and Darden community. To make the most of your visit, consider reaching out to student club leaders or ambassadors in advance to schedule a coffee chat. While there’s no formal tour, a self-guided option is available. Please note that due to the personalized nature of the visit, registrations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Class Visits are available throughout the academic year. Dates will be posted quarterly as the academic schedule is confirmed.
Friday Chat and Tour
While there are no classes available during the summer, there are still opportunities to chat with an Admissions Committee member and tour the Darden Grounds. Join us from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Fridays throughout the summer to learn more about the application process, the Darden community, and how to determine if Darden is your best fit.
*If you are unable to join us for one of these Class Visits OR Friday Chat and Tour events and still wish to visit, please contact us to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate drop-in appointments.
Day With Darden
Darden offers on-Grounds programming that gives prospective students an inside look at our tight-knit, collaborative community. Participants connect with current students, explore clubs and leadership opportunities, engage with members of the Admissions Committee, learn about our high-touch Career Center support, observe a class, and tour Darden Grounds. These multi-day events provide an immersive introduction to life at Darden, and we plan to launch additional opportunities in Fall 2026.
