On-Grounds events at Darden are a great way to observe the case method firsthand, and get to know Darden students, faculty and staff. We host several types of visit opportunities throughout the year.

Class Visits
A Class Visit is a chance to interact 1:1 with a current student and observe a Full-Time MBA class. Your visit experience will include:
Being paired with a student host for the duration of the visit, so we are unable to accept any registrations within 48 hours of the class time.
Shadowing the student host during class and observe the case method firsthand.
Joining the Darden community for First Coffee at 9:30 a.m., a Darden tradition dating back to the School’s founding.
To make the most of your visit, we suggest reaching out to student club leaders or student ambassadors ahead of your visit to schedule a coffee chat during First Coffee or after your class.
Come prepared with specific questions and use this valuable time to gain perspective on Darden culture and students’ unique experiences.
Class Visits are available throughout the academic year. Dates will be posted quarterly as the academic schedule is confirmed.
Summer Friday Chat and Tour
Please join us this Summer! Meet with a member of the Admissions Committee for a brief, small-group conversation and a tour of the Darden Grounds.
Day With Darden
Prospective students can attend a Day With Darden to take advantage of a full-day opportunity to experience Darden's distinctive case method by observing a class, touring the Darden Grounds and connecting with current students. While we do not currently schedule interviews during these events, attendees will be able to engage with our Admissions Committee in a panel discussion about the Darden application process. Day With Darden also includes a class visit, so students will not need to sign up separately for a class visit on another date. Day With Darden events generally only occur in the Fall, September through December.
