As a pilot for our Full-Time MBA 2020-2021 application cycle (i.e. Class of 2023), we are pleased to announce a standardized test waiver.
*If you are applying to our Full-time MBA program Round 3 deadline, the last day to submit a waiver request is Wednesday, 31 March 2021. Waivers are only valid for current 2020-21 application cycle and will not carry over to any future year. *Do not apply for a test waiver if you intend to apply to Darden in a future cycle. The Darden Admissions team will provide updates and instructions for the Full-time 2021-22 application cycle (i.e. Class of 2024) in May 2021. *If you are planning to apply to our Executive MBA program, you will find the relevant test waiver request form in the Test Scores section of the Executive MBA application instead. Do not fill out the request form here.
Waiver requests for the 2020-2021 application cycle will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and our Admissions Committee will consider a number of factors when evaluating these requests. Particular regard will be given for indicators of academic and professional accomplishment, including but not limited to:
These factors will be considered in combination with resume and transcripts for all degree-related coursework. Candidates who present a strong profile across several criteria (including supporting materials) are more likely to be granted a test waiver than candidates who meet only one criterion. We recommend reviewing our Standardized Test FAQs and test flexibility blog post before submitting your waiver request.
To be considered for a waiver of our standardized test requirement, please complete the required fields and upload the appropriate documentation when prompted. As noted above, please be sure to include all transcripts for all degree-related coursework when submitting your waiver request.
