Business has an urgent need to express how it interacts with and contributes to society. Social enterprise needs a new generation of leaders with the skills necessary to guide its organizations through an environment shaped by complex social and governmental forces. Join us in Charlottesville to learn how earning your MBA at Darden will prepare you to lead organizations at the intersection of the public and private sectors.

On Sunday, 10 September have dinner with members of Darden's Business and Public Policy, Education Club and Net Impact Club followed by the Open House on Monday, 11 September.  Monday's programming begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:15 p.m. The agenda includes a welcome from the senior leadership at Darden along with:

  • Class visit
  • Career Development Center presentation
  • Admissions and Financial Aid panel
  • Lunch with student club leaders
  • Tour of the Darden Grounds
  • Faculty discussion: The Intersection of Business, Society and Government with Joey Burton, Executive Director, Institute for Business in Society
  • Optional tour of the UVA Darden iLab
